French here. Genuinely curious about the "they don't have guns meme". We do. Legal gun ownership was 32% of the population in 2006. Around 15% these days with the new laws. But probably still 30% as with the new laws guns bought pre-1991 are not tracked anymore (lol). A hunting or shooting license allows you to get up to 10 guns, as long as they are not full auto.

Now I will tell you a secret about why the yellow vest thing doesnt work. It has nothing to do about guns. The yellow vests in the streets are between 0.2 and 0.4% of the population and they are not the patriots you think they are. A huge majority of people here can't stand them anymore. Same with Macron. We want no globalists nor antifas. Just MFGA.
