Live Thread - Avengers: Endgame [SPOILERS]

It was very good as a popcorn flick and absolutely accomplished what it needed to for who it needed to. Seeing the criticism now that I've viewed the movie, I echo the sentiments that those who were expecting an airtight plot should see festival nominees or movies designed with masterpiece intentions. Stark's death was extremely telegraphed, but still worked in spades judging by the reaction of the crowd in my screening today. A few were still wiping tears towards the exit. Nothing else was really that egregious unless you are a purist, of which this movie has a far wider scope than your demographic.

It was a bit wonky that Nebula instantly answered what the crew took 23 days to find out regarding Thanos' whereabouts when you'd think they'd ask her before that to avoid the later hassle, but that's just an "oh well" detail to me.

I'd End Game an 8.5. I'm not oblivious to what it is and isn't.
