Have you lived anywhere other than New Jersey? If so, share your experiences.

I have visited nearly all of our 50 states, and I've been lucky enough to spend a few months at a time in quite a few foreign countries.

Nothing compares to NJ... that is not necessarily a good thing. Broaden your horizons, Philly and NY are very similar to NJ, after all we are sandwiched between the two cities. I'll take NYC over Philly any day, but I'm not a city guy, which is probably why I don't like NJ. Way too many people, no one seems to be held accountable for their bullshit, the roads are the worst in the country, arguably the worst of any first world nation. Drivers are overly entitled and under educated. Ever driven the pan American highway? If various south American countries can maintain a nice road why can't NJ?

The state government and quagmire of municipalities are as crooked as can be, we get gypped out of our hard earned dollar at every turn, and what do we have to show for it? We're the laughing stock of the nation, except people don't laugh anymore they just look at you in awe and wonder why you haven't dropped dead from a heart attack or mental breakdown.

Our once beautiful landmarks and historical areas are mostly in a state of disrepair, there's a few well funded places left but they are unicorns. What's left of rural NJ has been left to fend for themselves and their five figure property taxes, urban NJ is fucking decrepit and shame on Essex, Hudson, and Bergen county for letting these cities turn into modern ruins. I'm not worried about getting shot in Newark or jersey city even though gun violence is a daily occurrence, no I'm worried about the basketball sized hunks of concrete that regularly dislodge from all out wonderful bridges.

TL:DR; you crazy man.
