Liverpool fans might be disappointed with transfer hope over £536m FSG deal

Facts, only problem is finding a good buyer and not some frauds like hicks and Gillette.

FSG were great for what we needed at the time but I’m not really sure what their end game is, they’ve done a great job at making us financially stable, removing debts and getting us to the top but it’s clear they can’t compete with city and Chelsea to keep us there.

Having bought us for £300m they could make great profit but again it could be a simple case of no available buyers so they won’t go out of their way to put us up for sale, which I suppose is fair enough.

I reckon they would’ve been willing to sell for £2billion back in 2018. They said we weren’t for sale but it turned out the guy couldn’t provide the £25m deposit or proof of funds so it never even reached John Henry. Had there been proof of funds perhaps it would be a different story.
