I have live in Redcliff since 2010. Redcliff has a sizable minority population due to the low wage Greenhouses. Mostly Filipinos. Mostly you will go unnoticed if you arent obnoxious. Nobody here will throw you under a bus because of your skin color. The public transportation in Medicine Hat doesnt have a high ridership, so it suffers on both duration and reliability. I would highly suggest you have a reliable vehicle if you move to the Hat. As there are large hills separating large portions of the city. Mostly everything is on the south end of town. The mall, basically 90% of places to eat out, walmart, hardware stores, etc. Rent is reasonable. 1 bedroom goes from around $600-1000. 2 bdrm is around 1000-1500. I think right now vacancy rates are quite reasonable. You shouldnt have too much trouble finding something. Unless you have pets. Pet friendly places are in high demand and get claimed quick.
