Living wages aren’t paid by villains

So while you "worked for years to get good enough at what I do" to do it for yourself, what was your quality of life like. How much money were you making? Also what year/s were gaining all your experience before going into business for yourself. What was the cost of living like at the time? Where did you live? Did you have any kind of expensive medical issues? Did you have health insurance? Were you able to afford a car or transportation to work? What was the cost of higher education at the time? Were you single or did you have a SO/ Spouse that could help pay bills and cover costs while you got "good enough" in your career. Did you have children that you had to take care of? Did you have any family that you took care of who were sick or unable to work for some reason?

There's plenty of other stuff I could ask you but I think you get my point by now. You aren't "responsible for the entirety of their happiness and well being" but people work for a living. So employers do owe their employees a livable wage. That is what minimum wage is supposed to be. It's not as simple as "don't take the job." It's not like people are just willfully choosing not to make more money. Employers aren't paying livable wages. And they don't have to because the minimum wage is ridiculously low. I'm not really sure why people want to demonize people who just want to make a decent wage.
