Living with Aphantasia isn’t all that different from just normal life.

I have sort of the opposite of aphantasia—I have like an inner catalogue of actions and things, I "hear" things, but no inner dialogue throughout the day. Similar to how you can put two TVs next to each other and sort of watch them both, I find I can sort of think about two things at once, focus on one more than the other, etc. But you can't do that with sound. If you blindfolded yourself and put those TVs to max volume, it would be damn near impossible to get any information from either. So my main question is this: can you think of two things simultaneously?

Because if you would be able to process close to 2 channels of information at once, I'd imagine it could help with a lot of things in daily life. For example, are you able to multitask easily? How easy is it to pick up foreign languages? When you are thinking of something negative, do you find your thoughts "compete" for space in your mind?
