I’ll never understand people who choose a dog over their own kid.

She says: "He can get a bit rowdy at the dog park, but he means well."

Um, how TF does she actually know what the dog intends? Dog nutters give themselves entirely too much liberty to assume they know what a non-verbal, non-human animal is thinking. You'd think they're as psychic as some of them claim attacking dogs are (e.g. "you got attacked, you must be a bad person and Fido sensed that, it's your fault haha!") when it comes to judging their mutts.

Or like when people think dogs are capable of guilt. It's just them projecting human emotions onto these creatures. Their brains aren't even capable of experiencing guilt. No, your shit bull did not feel guilty about killing that smaller dog for a second. Are you kidding me? I've heard about dog attacks (seen a few as well, on video) where a dog will attack another dog, some other animal, or a person and then just go on as if nothing happened after the attack is over. Like in a split second.

So sad to see this level of child endangerment. Many people have suggested that having children should require a license, and at a minimum I'd say no dog owner should be allowed to have children of their own or minors in their custody; people with large and aggressive dogs period shouldn't have minors or even young adults (or elderly people, or disabled people) in their custody or on their property. TBH, people with dangerous beasts should live alone in a cabin or other structure on an island where there is vast average and high electric fences keeping them away from anyone or anything else, but I also feel like that's giving them way more stuff than they even deserve. If they get mauled on Mutt Island, no one will ever hear them scream.
