OP, in the books Ron also has a long nose, Dudley was blonde, most of the adult characters (Harry’s parents generation) were younger and Krum for example also just generally looked completely different. In the new fantastic beasts movies, young Dumbledore is looking a hell of a lot hotter than he does in the Tom Riddle flashbacks in the HP movies (when there’s supposedly not many years between these scenes). What I’m trying to say is that this is what you get with movie adaptations. You can’t expect casting to be exactly what you’re picturing the character to look like or match the book descriptions or previous movie adaptations.

I’m very curious why you chose to point out this example. To me it speaks volumes that you chose to focus on skin color and race. I think you should reflect on why this is standing out to you more than the many other differences there are in casting choices between the books and the different movies. It’s not a good look for you, I’ll tell you that much.
