Sony is an awful company for customer service. Not to mention, even worse on their security. There are websites where you can literally buy hacked accounts for the games that they have on them. The fact that something like that is even possible means that enough people are being hacked and are unable to retrieve their accounts to literally run a business off of.

This is the real clincher for me - I have 2FA enabled and even then I don’t feel secure - every time I try to pay for something on the PS store it notifies me that I need to re-enter my CVC because my account has been logged in elsewhere. Despite the fact I’ve logged out of and deactivated all devices remotely 3 times since it first happened, and haven’t received a single 2FA notification for somebody trying to re-log back in, it still happens every damn time I try to use the PS store.
