Loan transfer time frame from Nelnet for PSLF

Totally normal.

Your loans are currently in something called a "pre-released" status, which means FedLoan might have general info about your loan (disbursement date, principal balance, interest rate, etc.)

Once the loans have actually entered their system they'll send you a welcome letter and they'll begin receiving payment history info so they can start counting the # of qualifying payments that you already have (don't be surprised if it takes a few months for the first payment count to be completed).

I would call FedLoan to see if they have a date that they'll have the loans and that will help you with your due date question. It's not out of the ordinary for loans to enter the system past due by a couple days. If this happens, don't freak out, go ahead and make the payment once you're able to. FedLoan doesn't charge late fees and they won't negatively credit report unless something goes more than 90 days past due.
