Tbf Vancouver's major - gregor robertson was a corrupt. Good looking guy, rich, and a real piece of shit.

And the provincial government under the provincial Liberals (not the same as the federal liberals) were terrible. I grew up under this government and it was frustrating. These are metro vancouver choices, these are rural BC choices.

I've mostly disliked the way our province has been run and what the municipalities have prioritized. It's the same story as everywhere - corrupt government, broken politics, apathetic voters. I don't think it's fair to say all of Vancouver sucks. There are a lot of people trying to make it better, but we have the same problems as everywhere else.
