Location vs Sq Mission

"Mission" is really subjective. What's a good mission for you? My base and deployment with the biggest and most meaningful missions were the 2 worst times in my career. Stressed out, depressed, long hours, and had the most troops to worry about. So my most impactful time in my career was also the biggest headache.

Personally, I'd put location on top, followed by people/leadership, then mission. A great location and good people can make up for a weak mission. Also, a good location typically means close to a big city and airport. Having the ability to get away and travel is a great way to unwind. That's just part of the reason why a place like Minot and Cannon suck. Where can you drive under a couple hours away to unwind?
