People in Australia still need to wear masks. They've continued to have to have rolling lockdowns as cases pop up. They aren't going to be anywhere close to back to normal for years.

I keep seeing this repeated here and it's nonsense. Australia's COVID restrictions are at a state level - not a federal level. There was no "Australian lockdown." And there are no "rolling lockdowns" - just different states entering lockdowns at different times. People love to talk about the big lockdown in mid last year, but that was just for one state (Victoria). If you lived in Sydney or Brisbane, you were unaffected.

I don't live in Australia, but my family does, and fuck they have it so good. Seeing gigs, going to massive sporting games, just living life normally. I'm very jealous.
