Rutgers, the Santa Fe Institute, UBC, etc.

Epstein also donated to scientific groups by funding them through already existing funding channels, i.e. he donated to an intermediary.

Krauss knew, many recipients likely knew.

You'll likely be unsurprised to know there's a rather large amount of deplorable people in academia who take advantage of tenure and academic freedom protections to defend pedophilia, misogyny, and various forms of bigotry and sexual misconduct.

When Universities try to reprimand academics for these types of statements and views, the ACLU threatens to sue them into oblivion.

BUT, a lot of researchers likely didn't know and didn't look into where the money they were receiving from nonprofits were coming from. I'm not defending Krauss, I'm saying that receiving money from one of Epstein's charities isn't an implication of guilt in professional or criminal sexual misconduct.
