Loki and fenrir

I just realized this is a fundamentally moot back and forth.

You're talking about the lore, the stories, the fables that were made up and were in no way meant to be used as religious text.

Fundamentally I just don't believe those stories actually happened in our world. Mayne that makes me a bad heathen.

I just don't think that we should be using the sagas as hard documents to try and justify aspects of our faith.

Inspire them? Absolutely. Use the knowledge left to us by our predecessors to help us understand the world until the world gives us information indicating otherwise.

But between the sagas and my experiences in the real world, I just don't see the Jotunn as gods and are definitely not inherently worthy of worship.
