London Buses unironically advertising their camera surveillance in the visual style of George Orwell's 1984 book cover

each and every individual should have the right to be informed about how and when thier information is being used or collected.

Not if delivering that information puts legitimate sigint activities at risk. If they want to know what I just bought at the grocery store good for them. If they want to know what Joe Hater the Bomber just bought from the chemical supply store, more power to them.

If you can't see or understand prove that governments even in first world counties use public information and survelience in attempts to further thier own rhetoric and ideologies while squash others, and why people would have an issue with that I don't know what to tell you.

I like western democracy's ideologies. That's why I choose to live here, and not somewhere else where they have opposing ideologies. It's not like they are keeping me here. Nor do I want other culture's ideologies to supplant my own. (Particularly the cultures that won't let me move to another country and enjoy their ideology if I so preferred.)
