Long chanceme to help me finalize my college list. Any input appreciated!

Is there a fifth academic class you can take senior year?

So, our schedule has 6 classes (A through G) but class G is only an 'Arts' class as it meets twice a week. I'm only taking 5 classes because my first research internship - the one I got through my school - requires that I have two empty class slots, and I picked G and one other. If I weren't in this internship I'd be taking AP Econ in that time.

Who is writing your letters of recommendation?

Well, my first is a teacher I had first semester Junior year for USH. I don't know if he's just nice (he is) but he really gushed about me ("Students like you are the reason I teach!" My mother came back from parents day with this quote: "Your daughter is up here and the rest of the class is down here.")

The second is my AP Bio teacher who I tested out this year with a recommendation letter to a CDC program. I was able to read it (that's the program policy, but she didn't know that... oops?) and it was very good. I also got an A in her course and a 4 (:/) on the AP.

Finally, the third (if a school allows it) is my science research mentor because I know he'll write me as excellent a rec as possible - I've worked with him for 4+ years so it's to the point where I'd probably get to read and edit it myself.

What will you say in your essay?

I'm going to write about my experience at FabLab (which was in a middle-eastern country btw) and teaching STEM courses in Arabic, and try to say it helped me improve my biomed research. The link is there - working on making it clear in my essay lol.

Thank you so much for your help! I've heard of Parchment - I'll do it if you'd like to find out the %, and I'll let you know.
