I think LISK will not be solved. I think it all lays with Shannan Gilbert. She was either the key to it all (stopped murderer in the act) or a massive red herring. Until we figure out if Gilbert was actively being murdered by her John (who was friends with Dr. Hackit) (plenty of evidence to make the case this was what happened as well as to make the case it wasn't) or if she did freak out and accidentally die. Once we know that, your suspect pool drastically changes. I doubt there was more than one killer (that's highly unlikely) and if there was they knew each other. I think LISK has quieted down in the wake of all the bodies being found, especially his early and sloppy work as far back as '96 that he thought was in the clear. There's likely more bodies that Hurricane Sandy destroyed the hope of ever finding. A person as methodical and calculated (a refined M.O. and calculated disposal) likely wasn't caught unrelatedly right after his crimes were uncovered. I think he is alive and well and has taken a hiatus or changed his location/M.O.
