Long $NFLX (?)

NFLX is one of those shares I have very little faith in.

- movie selection is piss poor with a bunch of Netflix originals and hundreds if not thousands of some incomprehensibly garbage D-films. Searching for my favorite A-list actors yields a 1-2 films, if any.

- Streaming sites like Putlocker aren't illegal at least where I'm from, and - low and behold - have pretty much every film I would ever want to watch, for free.

- NFLX has been riding on the success of a few successful shows like GoT (which I don't care about) but they can't keep those up forever. Eventually, at the peak of their hubris, they'll make their own Heaven's Gate and lose hundreds of billions on a turd of magnificent proportions, thinking this will be the new GoT. Nobody will watch it and shares will tank.

- ummhh there's competition left and right???

- prices are going up constantly (pricing power is an amazing thing to have) but it's just making them more and more uncompetitive. Streaming sites are free. NFLX is like a gas station that raises prices when there's a free EV outlet just across the road.
