I know this is a long shot but sos I need help

there's community kitchen on 10th street i think, they open around 6-7pm most nights. you can sleep on a mat on the floor there. if you can afford a hotel and the car repairs take too long, consider renting a car or buying one and making payments. it's usually easier to do this than renting a room/apartment around here, it's not a renter's market. douglass heights downtown rents to students. being a homeless in chattanoga is no joke, you can get used and abused by everyone, including the police. hurry up and find a way to be self sufficient and recognize that this isn't a socialist 'charity-driven' area and there's plenty of poor people here who aren't homeless.
