Longtime Trump Advisor: Trump 'Should Release His Tax Returns Immediately': remarks by some billionaires, including Mark Cuban, that Trump’s vaunted wealth is nowhere near his grandiose claims. Another billionaire scoffed, “He’s not a billionaire. I’m a billionaire. He’s a clown living on credit.”

Call me old fashioned, but I'm one of those voters who still believes that there's some sort of ladder of public elected office you just climb before you get to the Oval Office. This should be one of those unspoken things that are just self evident. There are many different ways up the ladder -- congressional experience on the state or national level, gubernatorial experience, time served as a secretary of a state or federal agency overseeing respective public facing matters, even a career spent working one's way up through the military ranks is valuable in some areas -- but you don't just gun for the top rung without demonstrating that you have experience working in a range of policy matters and answering to constituents who elected you to represent them.

If this is really all he has he ought to bore into it deep, assume the burden of proof and show people why he has something valuable to offer with at least this one thing, his business record. Because he has nothing else. If he can't even be transparent and divulge the truth about what little he has done he's full of shit and he ought to be laughed straight out the door.
