Looking for advice

My sister has her own health challenges so is limited in what she can do in my situation. The greatest thing she has done is to give run interference for me with the rest of the family as my “acting press secretary.” She tells them why I’m not at Christmas, our annual broadway show, Easter, or a family funeral. And she tells them what they should not do (call me, which just makes me feel pressure to call back) and what they should do (text me funny things).

I wish she were healthier for her sake of course - she has been sicker, and more seriously, for far far longer than me. But selfishly I wish I had a family member who could go to the grocery store, drop off some favorite foods to stow in my freezer, drive me to the occasional doctor, do my laundry, take a spa day with me both to relax and get these tense tight muscles looser. Friends can do some of this of course - I’m just shit at asking for help!

I’m single, no kids, and when the fatigue hits i am done for except I need to get paid so work is non-negotiatiable.

So these are all things you could do. Try to find the sweet spots of 1. Something she needs OR 2. Something she wants but would never ask AND 3. Something within your skill set.
