Looking for critiques on my Hook Sword Form

I don't agree with your division of culture and style at all. I studied Traditional Miao Dao as well as Kendo & Fencing, and the heavy Dao, a little bit of double saber. I've also done Escrima knife and Bagua daggers. In my opinion Swords and bladed weapons of all styles share the same principles and there's no reason to force separation. Why aren't you using your kali principles? Those knuckle guard strikes for example. It's like you're refusing to move freely and wildly as hook swords should be, By trying to be the non existent Chinese weapon style.

I never liked Hook Sword though, But respect for using swords with proper weight, No love for the hook flag whips. The form structure seems kind of basic, There's not much dynamic foot movement, I'd add them on my own and put more aggressive step ins and rush footwork.
