Stocky means it's got a thick enough neck and body that a single chomp from a big fucker won't kill it. By a 'while' I only mean 5 or 6 seconds. That isn't the case with my two dogs right now - a Lhasa and a Malshi. The Lhasa is the playful one, and so far in 2 years of taking him to the same park, the only problems have been dogs that the owners have on leads because they're aggressive. He inquisitively walks over and they snarl at him, and unfortunately because he's a slightly brain damaged rescue dog, he doesn't seem to take heed of the snarling.

I'm not gonna get another dog now - I just mean for the future when these two die and which would be in a long time. Very hypothetical question.
