Looking for easy to read manga or novels

i firmly believe that exposure to actual material is incredibly important

i look at the definitions of words with textractor and yomichan dictionary extension. At first i try to piece the sentence by myself, then I usually double check with deepl mtl ONLY to make certain that my assumption was correct, but it’s a handicap that i’ll need to drop sooner or later because sentence structure is different from english and it doesn’t work well with lack of context

i cannot stress enough how important it is to understand the grammar, it’s vital and i wish i had studied up on it prior to starting jp. tofugu site and cure dolly on yt are my go tos. yomichan dictionary will only highlight the base form of a word, so you’ll have to understand how conjugations affect the sentence.

as you keep mining words with yomichan, you’ll start to easily read sentences without the the use of mtl or dictionaries.

also there is an OCR program that works for manga as well iirc, so you can take that route, but i think visual novels are the better format
