Looking for a good game dev laptop

Also here is the helpful form:

  • Total budget and country of purchase:
    $1000, Croatia

  • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply.
Best specs, but I'd prefer the battery last 5 hours or longer

  • How important is weight and thinness to you?. Medium importance. It shouldn't be too heavy or too thick.

  • Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux.. Windows 7 or windows 10.

  • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.
    15-17 inches.

  • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.
I'll be running Unreal Engine 4(other game engines too, but this is the most demanding one), Maya 2017, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop (most recent versions probably), I'll be playing Total War Attila (maybe Warhammer too), Battlefield 1, and that Resident Evil 4 remaster that came out a while ago. I can compromise with the games though.

  • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? The ones above at at least 40 fps.

  • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Good keyboard and good build quality.

  • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. The keyboard is pretty important. Also, i don't want any flashy gaming stuff, I'd rather it be minimalist and sleek.
