Looking for a job while traveling?

My question is, is this possible or I'm just naive ?

What, you have not heard of remote software development positions?

It's certainly possible. But whether it's attainable in the short term for you personally, that depends on your skills/aptitudes. Software development is a very lucrative field, but I've seen lots of experienced devs (yes, real developers with years of industry experience as full-time employees, not just wannabes attending a bootcamp and watching youtube tutorials!) failing to find remote work. Remote work is the next level, beyond technical skills, you need really good communication and time management skills, and have to be highly autonomous.

Your plan to quit your job and then look for a remote position while traveling feels reckless to me. I'd suggest finding a remote position first before quitting, and working from home for at least a year before you start traveling. Telecommuting doesn't work for everyone you know...

Savings of 6k EUR for SE-Asia again feels thin, I'd recommend at least 10k out of which 2-3k are your emergency funds that you won't touch, unless shit hits the fan.
