Looking For More Engineer PvP Tips

Couple of things I noted:

First fight vs GS war, you stayed close in melee range far too much, and had to use some serious cooldowns because of it. Feel free to move off the point to avoid heavy melee damage when the point isn't fully capped. You can fullcap it after you've won the fight, but you won't be capping it at all if you lose. Also, you finished him with cleave, when stomping would have been faster.

Chieftain fight: Again, too much melee, taking too much damage because of it. Cele engi does a lot of damage at range, and has the soft and hard CC to stay that way. Save your hard melee burst (blunder+jump+pry) for when your target is CC'd, and deal most of the rest of your damage at decent range. Also, you should not have gone to fight chieftain with that gs war on respawn like that. At one point in the fight you detonated your healing turret before cleansing burst could take effect, losing out of half the healing.

At 10m left on the clock you go to chieftain again instead of heading to mid to help your team win that fight.

At 8:30 you throw some 'nades at a staff ele on the ledge at mid. When you're trying to throw 'nades over a ledge like that, back up a bit and jump after you initiate the grenade skill. This will make the projectile originate higher, and the longer arc means they'll probably make it over. There are also some ledges (not this one) where you can hit enemies with melee attacks (and prybar) by jumping after starting the attack channel, which would miss on the ground.

Some other things I noticed. You seem to dodge randomly a lot, or dodge for movement. Stop it. Those dodges are important, don't use them like you're an s/d acro thief. Also, you keep using Grenade Barrage when your enemies can avoid it. 'nade barrage is your hardest hitting skill when used correctly. Use it when your enemy is immobilised or knocked down. For maximum damage, use the skill while inside your enemies model. This ensures every one of them hits immediately.
