Looking for a photographer with quick turn around.

Don't know anyone locally, but if you are looking for a skilled and experienced pro for traveling shoot on a day's notice, be prepared for it to cost quite a bit.

Not at all saying that you are doing this, but because everyone has a camera now, photographers often have to deal with wildly unrealistic expectations on what their services should cost.

Just remember that you are not just paying for shutter clicks, but also time packing, traveling, setting up, getting back, etc. The gear itself is likely to represent at least a $10,000 investment, plus ongoing costs of maintenance, repair, software subscriptions, and insurance. Editing is often the most time consuming and tedious part of the job, and getting that done on a rush basis will mean either pushing other clients back or staying up late to add your project into the queue.

Again, not chewing you out as you didn't say you were looking for it done on the cheap, but asking a photographer for a last minute job and then balking at the price they give you is a good way to lose their interest in the job. Just make sure you research what it should cost ahead of time and that you are comfortable with that number before you reach out to a pro if you want a smooth interaction.
