I'd like to take some time to go over some important wormhole mechanics with you. When you get podded in wormhole space you get sent to your home station in K-space. This, if an enemy has hole control, means you will not be coming back into the hole again. During an eviction and before you plan on fighting to defend your home, it's best practice to not get podded and the surest way to prevent this is to stay undocked. When an eviction group brings 50+ pilots and hundreds of ships to evict a Corp with ~20 truly active members, bringing out your ships before you absolutely must is a poor decision. Is this news to you? Do you enjoy getting podded and removing critical defenses from your home just for the sole reason of "taking a fight"? If so you definitely belong In big Corp where your actions don't really affect anyone else. But we don't have that option. If you're actually looking for a fight then why remove content from WH space? Why not keep farming. We'll take all sorts of fights (see above zkill link) for the sake of fighting and learning. But we WON'T take fights when outnumbered 3:1 during an eviction unless we need to or think we have a chance of making a difference. I'm sure you would do the same. Or maybe you wouldn't, in which case I recommend doing a little more research on wormhole mechanics. It could save you someday.
