What you've just written is simply you weaseling out of the implications you've been suggested, I imagine because you're beginning to realize your own ridiculousness. Let me spell it out for you, so you can't snake around the cores points of your argument.

Say you are somewhere in the Tokyo subway system. You need to find a way to Harajuku, but you have no idea how. You see a group of English-speaking tourists, and you ask the group if someone can help you out. One member of the group says: "Why don't you just buy a map and find out which subway to take? Also, maybe if you said 'pretty please', more people would be likely to help you; remember that people are doing this for you for free, i would be more reasonable of you if you did these things." And then proceeds to not help. That person is an asshole. Not only did this person not provide any assistance, but actually took the time to act superior because he saw an opportunity too.

Now say you need to take a bus to get home at night, but you've lost your wallet. You ask a group standing at the bus stop if anyone would be willing to lend you money for a bus ticket. One person in the group says: "Perhaps if you sang a song or something, or maybe had asked other people for part of the bus fare first, so that you aren't asking for too much, more people would be willing to help you out. It would be more reasonable of you to ask this way." And then again proceeds to provide no assistance, that person is once again a superior asshole, who saw an opportunity to be self-important and took it.

Now say you ask for help with a translation on a subreddit. One person actually takes the time out of his day, not to help out, but comment how it would be more reasonable, if I perhaps had it translated first and then asked for help proofreading, instead of translating. That person is, once again, being a smug asshole.

In all three cases, imagine you point out to this self-righteous person, that he in fact is being unhelpful and pedantic. This person then says something along the lines of: "Well I'm only pointing out what would be more reasonable. Am I wrong? Would it not be more reasonable? Are you suggesting I should ignore your request instead of telling you to include more information?" Which is this person now being a weasel, focusing on ridiculous points instead of the fundamental reason why he was confronted.

Me and you, we can discuss this all day. We can use fancy words and clever maneuvers, but getting down to the core point, you were simply being self-righteous, and are now being unwilling to admit your mistake, because you're too proud. So I am stuck in the position of explaining common decency to a person, who is clearly being obtuse.

I was asking for a translation, I don't know why you are under the impression that this is an insurmountable task; that my post is somehow "unanswerable" - it clealy isn't. You're scrambling for an argument when it is quite obvious you don't have one. A kind redditor provided a translation quite quickly after I posted.

Despite the fact that you don't have a leg to stand on in this, as is clear from your last comment, I imagine you will continue trying to save face. Which is pretty pathetic.
