Looking for voluntary contributors to a blog about life in your country and current events in Europe. Interested? More info inside.

That sounds great! Nice that you got a nice feel for the interesting stuff. Here is what I sent the others.

Hey! Thanks for applying to write on the blog. I'm sending this message to all people who have written me. Here is some more information.

The name of the website is http://livesineurope.com, and it will be about our lives in Europe. As you can see right now there isn't anything on there yet. Hopefully your contributions will be on there soon. The site's design is still the standard basic one, but I think the content in the first week is more important than the design. I'm sure it'll change soon. Here are some ideas I had for new posts, but feel free to add your own:

Little fun/news stories A weird tradition is going on in your country/hometown A more personal story

I also had the idea for weekly topics (like street food, your daily commute, etc.), where the contributors could add their own story.

Right now this message is going out to: 1 person from Belgium, 1 from the Netherlands, 1 from France, 1 from Spain, 1 from Denmark, 1 from Sweden, 1 from Poland, 1 from Italy, and 1 from Greece. Me included (also the Netherlands) makes 10 people. In the coming days I will try and recruit more volunteers from different countries.

What is the next step? Good question. Let's see if you can write a nice story to get started. The first part is always the hardest. I will do the same. You can e-mail me at [email protected]. That will make it easier to communicate. I will then make you a contributor to the site. There is a page for contributors, where you could write some info about yourself. Also, if you want to include images, please make sure they are copyright free. I once was fined a few hundred dollars. This might be a bit of a hastily start, but I'm sure we'll figure it out in the future.

Hope to hear from you! Bye!

Wouter
