Looking at the methodology for a "Gaming affecting Negative attitudes" Study

In a situation that has been handpicked as ambiguous as fuck,

See this?

I thought we could discuss my poetry manuscript. I set it between us. He did not open it. He did not look at it. He leaned toward me and put his face inches from mine. ‘‘You have the aura of election upon you,” he breathed.

I hoped he was talking about my poetry. I moved back and took the manuscript and turned it around so he could read. The next thing I knew, his heavy, boneless hand was hot on my thigh.

This is not ambiguous. Not by a fucking long shot.

you chose : he's the devil, she's an angel

No. I chose "he's a person in power who is responsible for his fucking actions." Part of that includes being able to read into a situation beyond what your dick tells you. Even if he got the idea that she was interested in fucking him prior to the actual meeting (which if the case, he shouldn't have pursued because again, he's a professor and she's a student), the fact that she:

*put the manuscript in between them at the beginning *after he advanced on her, she immediately went for the manuscript and tried to make it the center of attention

Not understanding the first is forgivable. The second is not. Real life is not a fucking porno. If a women retreats from your advances, the chances are she's not playing hard to get nor should you assume such.

The only area in which I've over judged is that I've neglected the potential impact of alcohol.

He had, as promised, brought a bottle of Amontillado, which he drank continually.

Which would reduces the numbers to:

1) 7

2) 7

3) 2 and 4

4) Still a fucking 0

5) 7-8

At the risk of strawmanning you,

Don't pretend you give a damn immediately after you've already done it.

the entire "prejudice + power" bullshit is not only illogical, but dangerous, and for exactly that reason.

Yes, it is entirely illogical to hold those who are in power (and thus whose actions will have more dire consequences) to higher standards than those who aren't. /s
