Looking for advice with regards to course major selection as an upcoming college sophomore interested in management consulting. I attend an MBB target school (Top 10 LAC) and was planning on an Econ and German double major, however I'm not sure whether the German major is an effective use of my time and money considering all recruiting at my school is done for American offices. I enjoy learning German but attending a Liberal arts college means getting a balanced education and decreasing the time I dedicate to German would benefit that endeavor. Furthermore, I have interest in comp/sci and higher math which I think would benefit me more down the road. Is downgrading to a minor a smart decision and focusing on more relevant topics a smart decision or should I continue on the path I've set for myself?
