You say that because you're probably still in a situation where masterworks benefit you. I have a fully geared 788 power level javelin. Before the patch, gear score didn't mean anything, but now that they increased power levels and things like ultimates scale with power level, a maxed out javelin score is actually very powerful.

I'm in the extremely small percentage of players that can only benefit from legendary drops, so I've hit the wall that everyone else will hit much faster once they start raining loot. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely all for buffing loot drop rates, but once they do that they're going to run into a lot more problems.
