Los Angeles daily discussion thread 08/14

Posted a few days ago about possibly leaving a job I just started two weeks ago. I did end up leaving citing that it just wasn’t a good fit. Woke up to a text from the manager the following day wanting to talk by end of day. I meant to respond but I also had to switch into looking for a job mode so it kinda fell to the wayside. By the time I realized it, too much time has elapsed to respond so I just didn’t. Woke up this morning to an email sort of passively aggressively addressing issues they saw on their side, despite me not specifically naming the reasons why I left, basically asking me to reconsider and to please come back. If someone starts at your company and quits that soon and you feel like everything is mostly good on your end, why on earth would you chase the applicant that clearly isn’t vested? Just another red flag...
