Well teh shelter role she has SUCKS because she deals with people giving up pets for all sorts of benign reasons all day long. I can SEE how that would affect you. Your brother likely has the same issues- people don't have the $$ to pay for the care their animals need and they likely bring pets in that have BIG medical challenges. It literally said being a vet is one of the hardest jobs emotionally and I know this shelter lady likely has to see a very ugly side of people on the daily. She doesn't know my heart. I also think ppl LIE to her a lot so she may just be very jaded by now. I am thankful I don't have a job where I have to be let down by people all day!! It feels bad to be yelled at but it feels WORSE to be the angry/bitter person doing the yelling!!
