A Los Angeles Family Seeks Answers— And Accountability— After Black Mom Dies In Childbirth

My point is that your bias is limiting your ability to accept new information. Disclosing your profession only reinforces that opinion. My points stand; you incorrectly referred back to my posts in ways that suggest you do not have advanced comprehension for this type of research. I don’t think it’s laughable at all that you are ignoring those issues. It’s actually concerning & feeds back into the main theme that provider bias - likely arrogance too - heavily contributed to poor outcomes among certain patient populations. This is the first time in our exchanges you mentioned specific concerns that doctors are unfairly accused of racism. Your posts to me even clearly denied involvement of the medical system. Systemic racism is inclusive of the medical system of care. Also, there are definitely individual providers who are racist af just like there are individual people who are racist af. Racist attitudes are pervasive & there is no reason I’m aware of that they would magically hop over the healthcare system. Besides, we have a bunch of data on that too. Provider influence on health outcomes is extensively studied especially regarding bias & racial & ethnic health disparities. If you’ve published 50 times, I have no doubt you don’t have the skills to pull those articles on your own & get up to speed.
