yes, it gives a lot of heat. I didnt believe it myself untill i searched and watched a lot of videos that all say the same.
People dont seem to understand that i dont talk in absolutes. Calories do matter buit not in keto. It has to become 2nd nature to not overeat. That is the way to make it sustainable. Counbting calories and macros will keep you dieting forever. A healthy lifestyle needs body feedback, not feedback from a stupid app.
So in order of importance, depending on goal:

The best way to control calories when your body doesnt signal the right way yet is omad. Its almost impossible to overeat with one meal. Offcourse you can do it but if people are that stupid to not be able to see what is really too much then no diet ever works.
One meal till satiated, no counting. Thats all thats needed untill the body signalling takes over.
Keep keto simple, dont make it a diet, diets always fail, lifestyle change doesnt.
