At a loss with my (29/f) relationship with 36/m

Urge to meet hasn't really overcome the hurt but he has forgiven me, he's been very clear about that)

So what's exactly the end goal here? It's been a decade, and you're still nevermets. Yes, you've been talking every day, however, unless you actually meet in person, how would you know if you even click in person?

Furthermore, yes, you've hurt his trust....but if he hasn't gotten over it by now, he most likely never will. What's the point of dragging things out?

he's been in plenty of LDRs so I guess he's gone through the motions too many times) I dunno.

This statement is also concerning in itself. This man is 36 and has been in several ld relationships....why? Is his family extremely conservative? Does he have personal issues? Are there red flags which people see automatically when dating him in person? Has he met his exes?
