I lost 70% of my account value. Advice welcomed.

This is a very tough market. Everyone mocking you has probably been hit hard as well. I don’t really have any advice but to invest in strong companies with good cash flow and operating income, low debt leverage and really think about companies that have the ability to carry through recessionary / stagflationary periods. The period of easy money and large gains is probably over for a while. BRKB is probably a good one because of the it’s universe of diverse companies. I’ve honestly been shorting rallies and in mostly cash now. Quick gains are realized. You want to preserve your capital right now. Don’t feel like you need to make your loses back in a few trades because it probably won’t happen in this market and you’ll lose more. I’ve gone on tilt before and over trading will destroy your capital. Good luck, it’s only money, you will have plenty of opportunity to make it back be patient and measured.
