I lost my DnD group by refusing to play out a rape scenario

Well I just did my first session last weekend. I like how you described this. There were a few things I really didn't appreciate in it, because the DAM (my girlfriend) clearly knows I feel very uncomfortable with some of these things. I was raised very sheltered, which isn't really an excuse, but I'm also not someone to find mature content very 'entertaining' I suppose. Sometimes it's okay to slide if it's subtle, but o just find it incredibly improper and awkward. That and when a characters staple is including profanities in every other words of their sentence and being an all around edgelord jerk makes it kind of awkward.

Honestly I dont think I want to stay in the group if every enemy encountered is going to have a seduction attempt by the bard rather it's a vampire turned CHILD (pedophillia AND necrophillia, eugh) and I have some other things I clearly need to work out as well with someone... But it was more so even encouraged by her while I just kind of sat there quitely feeling uninvolved.

sigh :(
