I was on Mirtazapine and Dexamphetamine together. One knocked me out and the other charged me up. My doses of dexamphetamine were very low; and my depression was stress related. Treating my ADD really lowers my stress.
I haven't taken Atomoxetine. Sorry, I can't be of any help there.
I have taken both Methylphenidate (a dopamine reuptake inhibitor) and buproprion (a dopamine and noradranilin reuptake inhibitor), of the two, I like buproprion better.
If I were you, I'd give Atomoxetine a try. Give it a month or more. Reuptake inhibitors have a more subtle effect than stimulants, and tend to work better for treating ADD, assuming you can get the dosage right.
If you don't like it, there are alternatives.
Better living through modern chemistry, I say.
You can always message me, and we can shoot the shit. I have probably been there, dude. Probably.
