Lost on Medical Billing from an Auto Accident $

Yea I have PIP and haven’t even used it yet which is what struck me as very odd granted to be very honest I’m new to the state and didn’t fully understand what I was doing with PIP and took the high deductible on it and mistakenly elected Health primary because NJ allows you to pick so for this purpose it’s basically useless for me ( 100% my error- not blaming anyone)

The first bill for $5k was paid about 4-5 months ago. When I was told about the second one being denied I didn’t say anything about the other one being paid because well I didn’t want to rock the boat on the bigger bill being paid almost a half year ago.

I know there’s a reality I could have to pay that $5k or so if they realize the error and reverse the claim , which I will pay but also don’t want to volunteer it up because all the proper documentation was sent to them when they paid it.
