Few people outside of Qrow knew that Raven had a huge crush on Summer but like the coward she was she couldn’t bring herself to admit it or tell Summer how she truly felt, mainly out of pride of the tribe, but also she couldn’t think she could handle rejection if Summer didn’t feel that way.

It was a cool summer’s day with barely a breeze in the air and Raven stood over Summer’s grave with a bunch of lilies

“Hey Summer, I met your daughter today” she said “she looked like you, but miniature. I think you’d be proud” she said with a small smile on her face. Producing a bunch of lilies, Raven placed them on the grave.

“I bought you your favourite flowers” she said and sat down next to her grave and began to let the mask slip slightly

“I’m not sure I ever told you this but I always had a massive crush on you, Summer. I never told you because I feared you’d reject me like everyone else in my life, I-I miss you, I miss your positivity that always put a smile on my face at the end of the day, I miss how you gave everyone, Even me second chances Even though I far from deserved it, but most importantly I miss wanting to confess my heart to you so I wrote several letters to you but never posted them”

Raven began to openly cry and letting the tears flow. She could imagine Summer’s voice now, That comfortingly sweet voice that always made raven weak at the knees just hearing it

“oh Rae Rae, I miss you all as well but please, don’t let my passing divide the team, remember my memory and know that I’m watching over you all”
