A lot of americans don't understand that other people have other cultures and don't think the same as them

Ok so I’m from the U.S. I, nor anyone I know, is unaware that America and the U.S are two different things. MOST people in the entire world don’t understand other cultures until they experience them. Because there is absolutely no way to understand something if you don’t see it for yourself, and you can’t say that a majority of the world has had immersive experiences into other cultures. And just a little anecdote; when I went to London last August I was not prepared to be absolutely hated for being from the U.S. I had to start saying that I am from Canada just so I could avoid receiving bad service or getting harassed while I was out. So stop acting like we’re the only people capable of hatred and bigotry.
