You know the reason that cultures get appropriated? They are interesting or they are functional. That's it. If something from your culture gets appropriated by the "white man" then you should be happy. It is cool! Other people celebrating it wrong doesn't hurt you at all! Just like how letting gays get married and trans people doing there reversal doesn't either.

I get it, you are bothered by it. I'm bothered by a lot of things too. But I've never been bothered by someone taking something from my people's culture and using it. It's always a net positive for the world when a culture expands and adapts into it's new home.

Just like the Romans and pagan culture became modern Christianity, so has The Good ol US of A become the melting pot of all culture. If you don't like it, then go somewhere where your culture dominates. Unless you are Native, then you are just fucked.
