A lot of crypto millionaires have been made this run. Now let's hear about the ones who lost

In late 2017, a friend introduced me to cryptocurrency and taught me how to invest in ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings similar to IPOs). Those were the golden days for me. I got a 2,500% gain from a coin (DRGN) and another 1,000% gain from another. Let's just say I wasn't happy if the gain I got from an ICO was just 400%. I turned my P100,000 investment in September 2017 to P1,300,000 in May 2018. I wasn't satisfied. This one million can surely turn into ten million. After all, I 10x'd my investment already.

In 2018, I went greedy investing $1,000 to these wack job ICOs popping left and right. Little did I know that it is about to crash with me left with coins that have no value.

Then September 2018 happened! Instantly, my 1.3 million vanished. It's like the Thanos snap but make it more brutal! No, 50% of all life is not enough. Make it 75%. Just like that, I'm down to 350k. I should not worry though. I still bought a gazillion coins from ICO that will help me recover my million.

Nope, it did not happen.

I was still greedy. I kept chipping in money to projects in 2020. Thankfully, the resurgence happened last year. After chipping in 600k, I finally got it to 800k. And said, I'm done with this and withdraw all of it.

Sorry, I know this is not totally a "money lost" story. But whenever I think about the time I invested in this, I could have just thrown all that money to a conservative UITF and still gotten that 200k without the added stress and lost time.
