Louis C.K Heading Back to the Big Screen with Indie Film 'I'm a Cop'

You realize we're watching Muhammed Ali, or Michael Jordan or Marlon Brando right now? I mean Louie is going to ruin all future comedy/TV. I can't imagine it getting any better. I'm 37, lived through Seinfeld, Curb, watched all the lauded comedy shows and my jaw just drops on every episode of Louie. It's like the comedy version of The Wire. I can't imagine better. Even Burres, who is great. This show never ceases to leave me stunned with my jaw dropped, get me emotional, or make me laugh out load. Louie did all 3 for me with this episode. Holy shit it was good.

This is my favorite episode since the Woods episode from last season. No other show can make the viewer laugh, feel uncomfortable, feel sadness and pain, then feel a sense of comic relief all within 22 minutes. So what if you neckbeards don't recognise the work of genius that Louie is. It is a powerful work of true art. Last time I watched an episode it induced a mild existential crisis and I had to take a xanax and rearranged my scarf collection for a while just to extricate myself from the deep contemplation of the human condition which this comedy show had brought to bear.

I find Louie haters' disproportionate reaction to not only be derived from the state of the art they enjoy, but also palpable to the point of irony. We are talking about art here, people. Look at /r/OpieAndAnthony and try to find a single piece of intellectual discourse. You won't find it. Nothing but verbose bigotry from the lost and dross of societal means. Such a great episode. God I love this show. The performances are so raw, I get lost in the whole thing and forget that it's fiction. It just masturbates my emotions in a thousand different ways and the laughs are such a release after the buildup of tense and emotional moments.
